Busy weekend

We found out Friday a.m. that we can close this next week on the house! Yippee! Katie's troop had camping this weekend to judge several other troops on their g.s. skills. Saturday Steph's troop had their big Bridging event at the Golden Gate Bridge, along with over 5,000 other junior g.s. We met the other girls in San Jose at 6:30am to carpool up to San Francisco. We took motorcoach shuttles across the bridge and walked back. It was so neat!!! Riley slept pretty much the entire time in my wrap and was a great little traveler! There were many booths to make crafts and do different things and it easily took us 2 hours to see it all. Everyone had a good time and most of the girls slept on the way home ;-)

Sat. night I picked up Katie from camp in the mountains 20 min. away from here. She was getting confirmed at church and they decided to do it at the early service. Ack! So, I got her home and visited with Taurean - John's sister's son in the Navy visiting for the weekend.

Taurean (the oldest Sellin cousin) flew back to Hawaii early Sun. a.m. so John took him up to San Fran first thing, just in time to get back and go to 8:30 church. Confirmation went well and each girl was to answer 3 questions from what they learned in the class the past 2 years. Katie did great! They looked so nice in their white gowns.

Mother's Day was relaxing. John and I agreed that buying a house was a good enough gift for Mother's Day and Father's Day so Riley and I took a nap then we picked up Chinese take out for dinner. Good enough!

This house will be shown tomorrow a.m., for the 3rd time already, so we need to get it picked up again and we'll be walking to the park while the people walk thru.

Our weekly trips to San Jose are finally dwindling down. No more science and confirmation class and tomorrow should be their last language class. Just Katie's Tues. scout meetings! Getting there! We will move next week and Memorial weekend Steph's troop is heading to Sacramento on the train for our final troop trip. Looking forward to everything happening this month but can NOT wait for May to be over!

I must get little people ready for bed and get myself to bed. Going to sleep well tonight!

good luck with the move, I know it will be stressful but it will all be worth it when you are settled in.
