Making another offer

We found out rather late that our offers have been turned down because the sellers have not wanted to deal with our '45-day' escrow. VA used to take that long. Our lender said we could easily close in 30 days and maybe even less. So, the house we made 2 previous offers on(it had blue shutters), we have resubmitted an offer. Yep, 3 times now. You can't say we haven't tried! We're just waiting to hear if they will accept any part of it. Will just might buy a house yet! But I'll believe it when I see it!

Riley's doing great. 2 weeks 2 days old now. He had his check up yesterday and he's not gaining as fast as the doc would like so we have another weight check in 2 weeks. He's 7#6oz and has grown 1.5"! That's at least something! His yellow complexion is slowly fading with every poop and boy, has boy, has he had plenty of those!

We survived our first teacher visit post baby...I had everything done minus a few papers to turn in for their learning records. Will get them in the mail tomorrow! Woohoo! Time to take a breather!

Looking forward to mom visiting next week. We're also planning to have Riley baptized that weekend...on mom's b-day.
